Lettuce chicken wrap

Lettuce chicken wrap is a very tempting and interesting recipe for a change and comes as a handy meal when you are very busy in your work.Being rich in protein and fibre, it keeps you full for long hours.

Ingredients

1 tsp olive oil
100 gm bone less chicken, chopped into very small pieces/ tofu / paneer
4 cloves garlic (minced)
1/4 cup onion( chopped)
1 carrot ( cut into thin slices)
1/4 cup purple cabbage finely chopped
2 green onions (chopped)
salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp roasted and crushed peanuts
2 ice berg lettuce leaf

For the sauce:

1 tsp sweet chili sauce
1/2 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
1 teaspoons naturally brewed light soya sauce
1/4 cup fresh cilantro (chopped)
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes

method

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium flame. Add chicken pieces and cook till tender.Add garlic onion,salt, black pepper and stir occasionally. Then add carrots, cabbage, and green onions, and cook for 2 more minutes.
In a small bowl combine the sweet chili sauce, ginger, soy sauce, and crushed red pepper. Stir until smooth.
Add sauce,cilantro and crushed peanuts to the mixture.Toss them well.
Spoon mixture into individual lettuce cups and wrap it.

Tulsi - A wonder Herb

To make nice cup of Tulsi tea 
Ingredients
1. 1 clove
2. 2 blackpepper
3. 4-5 tulsi leaves
4. a small piece of jaggery/ 1/2 tsp honey
5. 1/4th tsp crushed ginger.
6. 1 cup of water
Method
Heat water in a saucepan. Add all the ingredients except honey and bring it to boil till the colour of the fluid changes.Strain and sip hot. If you are using honey,add it after straining.

corn and avocado salad



When we talk about salad,image of leaves come to mind but here we have created --Corn and Avocado salad - perfect salad for this rainy weather. 
Avocado is loaded with good fats-good for your skin and heart.
Its worth giving a try
Ingredients- 
Boiled corn -1 cup
Avocado- 1/2 (cut into cubes)
Tomato- 1(chopped)
onion- 1 (chopped)
cilantro- 1 table spoon(chopped)
Dressing- 
honey- 1 spoon
lime juice/ mausami juice- 1 table spoon
salt - to taste
pepper- 1 pinch
Method- 
Add corn, avocado, tomato, onion,cilantro, in a large bowl.To prepare the dressing, combine all the ingredients in a bowl and whisk it properly.pour over the salad and toss it gently.and serve.

Raw mango -1(thickly grated)
Beans sprout- 1 serving spoon
Naturally brewed light organic soy sauce - 1 tsp
Roasted peanuts (crushed)- 1 Tbsp
salt- to taste
Green chilli- 1 (finely chopped)
Tomato- 1 (chopped)
onion-1 (thin slice)
For garnish-
coriander leaves- 1 table spoon finely chopped
Mint- 1 tsp (finely chopped)
Method- Take a bowl , add raw mango ,onion,tomatoes,beans sprouts,salt and toss them well. Top it with ,green chilli,peanuts,coriander and mint. Add soy sauce just before serving.

We present this yummy recipe ,which is perfect for summers when you are looking for something cool and refreshing.
Curd is loaded with probiotics which is essential for gut health and keeps our system cool.

Breakfast summer yogurt fruit jar
Ingredients-
roasted rolled oats- 2 tbsp
yogurt- 1 cup
water-1/4 cup
mint sprig-2-3
Honey-1 tsp(optional)
For topping- mango- 1 slice
peaches- 2(cut into cubes)

Method- In a bowl take curd and water, beat it properly then mix together roasted rolled oats. Cover it and place in fridge for a minimum of 6 hours.Remove oats from the fridge. Add fruits and mint sprig on the top.
