Sweet salty sweet potato

In winters who can stay away from sweet potato but More often weight watcher avoid eating sweet potato being sweet and high in calorie. 
but if you get to know its benefits,you will start enjoying sweet potato without the guilt.
Its so healthy being rich in potassium ,selenium , iron ,calcium,vitamin A and C. Its rich in anti oxidants too.
Here is a nice lip smacking sweet and salty recipe of sweet potato. This can be replaced with one meal as its so filling and won't let you gain weight.
Ingredients for 1 serving
100 g sweet potato ( hard boiled and peeled)
1 tsp butter
2-3 tsp spring onion greens, chopped
2 tsp parsley, chopped
salt and pepper to taste
1 tsp lemon juice
Cut sweet potato into small cubes.Grease a pan with little butter,put the cubes of sweet potatoes. cook in medium flame till one side become little brown. Turn upside down. Add rest of the butter ,chopped parsley ,spring onion greens, salt and pepper.. stir for 5 minutes. Turn off the stove add little lime juice and serve hot.

Its New year ,new resolutions and time to think about your health again.As we are done with our year end parties,its time to detox your body.Here is one easy way to detox your body completely in a healthy way.
1. Have shots of wheatgrass juice( 30 ml per day)) empty stomach in the morning . This will aid in detoxification and relieving water retention.
2. drink warm water throughout the day.
3. eat more of fresh veggies and fruits.
4. Try avoiding any type caffeinated drinks. sip jasmine tea or chammomile tea.

What should we eat before party ?

Everyone is now in full mood to party out for the new year to come but wondering how to keep wt. in check. here are few tips which will help you to keep you away from eating more at the party.
The best way is to take precaution before going to the party so that you will have less indulgence with food. If we eat something before going to the party then we won't feel that hungry and at the same time can enjoy the party too. So what one should eat before party ?
So you can prefer a bowl of veg soup or yogurt with fruits or
sprouts or grilled pineapple to fill up your stomach before party. Yogurt helps line the stomach and prevent you from eating all that is served and so you will cheat less.

Tomyum soup Recipe

Soup is a great comfort food in winter. Tom Yum soup in Thai cuisines is packed with so much flavour that you will enjoy the aroma of ingredients such as lemon grass and kaffir lime leaves.
If you want to watch your weight(want to loose weight) then enjoy this soup as a meal with our easy recipe.
Tom Yum Soup
Ingredients- For 2 serving
1 tea spoon extra virgin coconut oil
2 stalk lemon grass(remove the outer first 2 layers and cut in slice)
1 onion (chopped)
4 cloves of garlic(finely chopped)
2 inch galangal(Thai ginger) peel and chopped
4 cups vegetable stock or water
2 red chilli peppers(smash each lightly)
6-7 kaffir lime leaves
6-7 mushroom(washed and cut into pieces)
2 tomatoes(cut into pieces)
2 tsp spoon lime juice
2 tsp organic light soy sauce
2 cup Zucchini (peeled and cut into pieces)
cilantro, green onion, and lime wedges for garnish
Heat oil in a pan add onion and garlic. saute for a min.
Add chopped mushroom, zucchini, tomatoes. mix well and saute for a minute.
Add veg stock or water. now add the slice of lemon grass, galangal and red chillies.
Tear kaffir leaves and add them.
Add salt and mix.
cover the pan with the lid and simmer on low medium flame till veggies are tender and cooked well.
Add soy sauce. mix well and simmer tom yum soup.
switch off flame. Add lime juice for a less sour taste. garnish with cilantro and green onion. and serve.
## note:- while serving tom yum soup remove the lemon grass stalks, red chilli, kaffir lime leaves and galangal. These can not be chewed. so do make sure not to finely slice or chop them.

To create a calorie deficit that will help you lose weight, it’s critical that you increase your activity levels.
Find an activity that you enjoy, whether it be a sport ,dancing ,running or working out at the gym.
Even if you don’t exercise formally, try increasing the number of steps you take every day. It’s a simple way to burn more calories and get fit.
To lose weight, aim for a goal of 10,000 steps per day and reach that goal over a period of time.
Most importantly eat healthy and mindfully.

Open Toast Egg Sandwich

Egg toast has been the most popular and filling breakfast for many of us. It completes the protein- carb combination required at breakfast meal. Here is a nice version of egg and toast which you would love to eat.
Ingredients : For 1 serve
1 tbsp hung curd/ set curd
2-3 leeks, thinly sliced
1/2 tsp honey mustard
1/2 tsp fresh lemon juice
salt to taste
1 hard boiled egg, chopped
1/4 cup arugula, baby variety
1/4 medium avocado, thinly sliced 
1 slice whole bread, toasted
1/2 small fresh radish,very thinly sliced
In a medium mixing bowl, combine hungcurd,leek, mustard, lemon juice and salt. Stir in chopped eggs.
Top the toast with arugula, slices of avocado and egg salad. Garnish with radish.
