Incidence of water borne diseases like dysentery, cholera and gastrointestinal infections is high during this season. Hence it is necessary to take precaution during this season. Avoid raw or uncooked food especially green leafy vegetables because they play host to many larvae, dust and worms and can cause infections. Avoid left over food. Drink only boiled or filtered water.
