Benefits of small frequent breaks while sitting continuously

Human life has achieved a greater comfort with the advancement of science..Many of us are working sticking to the same seat for 8 to 10 hrs without any break in the whole week days.By doing this we are actually bringing harm to our body physically and mentally too.The likely harmful results of a sedentary lifestyle are: Higher levels of "bad" LDL cholesterol,Lower levels of "good" HDL cholesterol,Higher blood sugar levels, or less insulin sensitivity,Higher blood pressure. Metabolism slows down with this lifestyle without burning any calories. So its always advisable to take a break and move around to give a push to our metabolism and to improve blood circulation too.Take an active break at least once an hour, and remember that an active break can be effective even if it is as short as a minute or two.
